Building strong relationships with surgeons, anesthesiologists, as well as nursing and support team members will be a crucial aspect of the role. Additionally, you will play a vital part in ensuring that the perioperative clinical enterprise operates seamlessly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • IU Health internal applicants only
  • Required: M.D. or D.O. degree with a valid medical practice license in the State of Indiana
  • Active practicing surgeon or anesthesiologist
  • Existing appointment to the IU Health medical staff
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience at IU Health
  • Demonstrated strong people management and leadership capabilities with a track record in problem-solving and facilitation
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, relationship-oriented work environment
