Splat Lab is looking for energetic, ambitious emerging education professionals to join the team and assist with Residencies, Pop Ups, and Camp Programs in NYC this fall.

About the Company:

Splat Lab and Anthro Arts focus on providing high-quality enrichment classes for youth in partnership with over 50 schools. They offer signature classes including Anthropology Arts and Splat Lab, along with summer camps and school break camps to create a unique learning experience.

Job Description:
  • Assist Lead Educators in implementing the curriculum, managing classrooms, and ensuring materials are well-organized.
  • Receive training in The Splat Method and curriculum to deliver magical and professional workshops.
Position Requirements:
  • Availability for Zoom meetings and to work at NYC locations
  • Interest or experience in Education or as a Teaching Artist
What You'll Do as an Explorer:
  • Take part in a Youth Development Cohort program that includes training in various learning techniques.
  • Work closely with a mentor to receive guidance and feedback on your progress.
  • Have the chance to become a teaching assistant after completion.
Program Details:
  • Must attend weekly Zoom meetings and be available for after-school placements.
  • Must have a vibrant personality and a keen interest in education.
  • Previous experience with youth and a commitment to positive discipline practices are essential.
  • Full vaccination is required.
  • Minimum age requirement is 18.
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay rate of $18 per hour and an engaging group interview process.
