Role Summary:
The Student Services Program Manager is a vital role that includes teaching at least one course while meticulously tracking attendance, submissions, and grades for those courses. This position collaborates closely with various departments including Admissions, Registrar, Academics, Financial Aid, and Career Services to ensure that students are effectively progressing from enrollment through to the completion of their internships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customize instructional materials and teaching methods to enhance each student's skill development in relation to their training goals.
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage special schedules after advising students on their course performance.
  • Implement a communication strategy with assigned students, including documented phone calls and emails.
  • Facilitate student integration into the course environment by attending Module 1 classes daily.
  • Act as a liaison to other HRPivot departments, guiding students to the appropriate resources as necessary.
  • Prepare lab supply requests and submit them to the VP of Academic Affairs in advance.
  • Upon approval, oversee all lab supply orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of course enrollment, attendance, academic progress, curriculum, and learning outcomes; prepare and submit related reports promptly.
  • Complete Advising Records and provide counseling to students as required.
  • Collaborate with Career Services to ensure that all physicals and immunizations are completed prior to internships.
Qualifications:
  • At minimum, a Medical Assistance Certificate or an Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • A bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree is preferred.
  • Current credentials in the relevant area of expertise.
  • Possession of a New York Education Department teaching license is necessary; assistance will be provided to qualified candidates to obtain this license if needed.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant instructional experience is preferred.
  • Prior managerial experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
