Full time Grant Manager

The Grants Manager will oversee all aspects of grant management, including application development, review processes, financial monitoring, and reporting. The role also involves municipal planning, data analysis, community outreach, and more. The ideal candidate should have advanced analytical skills and the ability to work independently on various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Proposals Management: Review and compile grant proposals adhering to budget requirements.
- Hospitality Tax Fund Management: Oversee fund distribution, liaise with applicants, and prepare reports.
- Disaster Management Coordination: Act as a liaison for disaster-related activities and reimbursement.
- Grant Program Development: Research opportunities, set program goals, and manage administration.
- Financial Management: Coordinate budgets and reporting, ensuring fiscal control.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate special projects and events as assigned.
- Communication and Public Relations: Communicate plans and policies, provide technical assistance.
- Data Analysis and Strategic Planning: Analyze data for planning purposes, assist in economic development.
- Safety Compliance: Participate in safety training and maintain a safe working environment.
- Committee Participation: Serve on various staff committees.
- Emergency Preparedness: Report to the Emergency Operations Center during emergencies.
- General Duties: Perform assigned duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Graduation from a four-year college or university (Masters in Public Administration preferred)
- Three years experience in municipal government project or grants management or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of local government grants management and services
- Proficiency in personal computer operation
