This position will work closely with the Associate Director of Research Enterprise and other research administrative personnel to enhance the capacity for securing funding opportunities and managing grant activities.Key Responsibilities:1. Grant Administration: - Manage pre-award and post-award processes, including budget preparation, submission, and financial reporting. - Maintain detailed records of grant activities and documentation. - Coordinate with finance and administrative departments to ensure proper grant fund management and compliance.2. Grant Proposal Development: - Collaborate with KCV and partner institution's key contacts to develop competitive grant proposals for faculty, staff, and research teams. - Conduct research to identify funding opportunities that align with institutional priorities and KCV strategic goals. - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and submitting grant applications. - Ensure proposals are compliant with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies.3. Communication and Coordination: - Serve as a liaison between funding agencies, partner institutions, and research teams. - Facilitate communication and collaboration among KCV EDGE partners and stakeholders. - Provide regular updates on grant activities, funding opportunities, and compliance requirements.4. Training and Capacity Building: - Develop and deliver training sessions on grant writing, administration, and compliance for faculty and staff. - Create resources and guides to support grant-related activities.5. Monitoring and Evaluation: - Track and report on grant performance metrics, including submission rates, success rates, and financial impact. - Participate in the evaluation of grant-funded projects and the overall effectiveness of grant activities. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of grant processes and practices.6.
