This position is responsible for supporting environmental services needs in areas such as the Operating Rooms and Post Anesthesia Care, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Diagnostic Imagining, Critical Care, Pharmacy, Patient Rooms, and other scheduled areas. The eligible list established from this recruitment may remain in effect for six (6) months.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Successful completion of 60 semester or 90-quarter units from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

Five (5) years of full-time experience or its equivalent in the environmental services division of a hospital, rehabilitation center, military or similar institution, three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.


Substitution for Experience:

Possession of a National Executive Housekeeper's Association certification, or possession of a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification issued by the American Hospital Association may be substituted for one (1) year of required experience.
