Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage comprehensive safety and loss control programs, including ergonomics, hazard communication, and injury and illness prevention.
  • Conduct site safety inspections and injury investigations, analyzing data and providing recommendations for prevention.
  • Develop and implement job hazard analyses and other safety assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide technical guidance, reports, and correspondence to support safety and risk management initiatives.
  • Assist in developing safety policies and procedures, as well as instructional presentations and materials for training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 18 months of full-time experience in environmental, health and safety administration or staff capacity, with a focus on program development and implementation, occupational injury investigation and prevention, and safety training.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, laws, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
