Job Description at Company X:
Join our team at Company X as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with a competitive pay range of $70 per hour to $75 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and sustainability laws at Federal, State, and Local levels.
- Develop and implement new EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
- Create and maintain EHS reports and records.
- Establish processes to ensure adherence to EHS event timelines.
- Support day-to-day activities across operational functions.
- Act as a primary contact for internal customers and cross-functional groups.
- Participate in fostering an EHS culture at the site.
- Collaborate at various levels to drive EHS initiatives.
- Assist in training programs and risk assessments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Address issues and escalate concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, health & safety, science, or engineering along with:
- At least 6 years of EHS Experience.
- Proficiency in MS Suite applications.
- Experience with incidents and learning systems databases.
- Familiarity with EHS federal and state regulations.

- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
