Position Overview:
- Support various Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives and programs
- Oversee Contractor Safety protocols, manage Safe Work Permits, and lead training for essential programs such as confined space entry and lockout/tagout
- Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, medical surveillance, and sustainability laws and regulations
- Engage in self-assessments, inspections, hazard evaluations, and audits to uphold a secure working environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee compliance with environmental, safety, medical surveillance, and sustainability standards
- Develop and refine EHS programs, policies, and procedures
- Maintain comprehensive EHS reports and documentation
- Support diverse operational functions across the organization
- Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to the development of a robust EHS culture
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental studies, health & safety, science, or engineering
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in EHS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with incident management and learning systems databases
