About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Environmental Health and Safety to join our team at Bristol-Myers Squibb. As a key member of our EHS team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new EHS programs, policies, and procedures, and update and improve existing ones.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental, safety, medical surveillance and sustainability laws, regulations, codes, rules, and consensus guides.
- Develop, create, maintain, and distribute EHS reports, and records as assigned.
- Conduct risk assessments and continuously improve EHS processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with multiple departments, lead EHS culture initiatives, and support training programs.
- Participate in and show leadership in an EHS culture at the site that partners with operational teams to ensure all are accountable for EHS culture and performance.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in environmental studies, health & safety, science or engineering.
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of prior EHS Experience.
- Proficient with MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Minimum 4 years' experience with incidents and/or learning systems databases (e.g., Enablon, Success Factors, etc.).
- Minimum 4 years' experience related to the EHS federal and state regulations (EPA, MassDEP, OSHA, etc.).
