Schedule Details:
Schedule is 4 days per week, variable start times between 7:30 and 8:30am. Call requirements include one night per week and every 7th weekend. Holiday rotation also required.

What You Will Do:
The Vascular Sonographer provides noninvasive diagnostic Vascular Services according to established standars and practices.

You Will:

  • Adequately explain rationale and patient expectations for each test
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history from both patient and provider, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician

You Will Need:

  • Bacholer of Science degree or a licensed medical professional able to obtain Registry of Vascular Technology within six months of training completion.
  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
  • BLS CPR Certification through American Heart Association
