Work Schedule: First shift .9 FTE, with one day off per pay period. Start times vary between 7am and 9am. On-call coverage is required for one night each week, along with a rotation for weekends and holidays.

The Echosonography Technician performs noninvasive cardiovascular diagnostic examinations in accordance with established protocols and standards. The Echo Tech utilizes advanced sonographic techniques to identify, document, and modify procedures as necessary based on anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic data. In this capacity, you will evaluate sonograms, integrate sonographic data with patient and provider medical histories, and relay findings to the designated physician. This role requires independent judgment during sonographic evaluations to accurately distinguish between normal and abnormal findings.

Qualifications Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Completion of a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is essential. Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program is preferred. Registry (RDCS or RCS) eligibility is required, with certification to be obtained within six months of program completion. A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography License is preferred. ACLS certification is also preferred.
