We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonography Tech to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

About the Role

This is a pool position for our vascular lab, where you will support and help cover for PTO or open call shift needs as required. As a Vascular Sonography Tech, you will be responsible for providing non-invasive diagnostic vascular services, utilizing your expertise to identify, record, and adapt procedures as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain the rationale and patient expectations for each test in a clear and concise manner
  • Utilize cognitive sonographic skills to analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree or a licensed medical professional with the ability to obtain a Registry of Vascular Technology within six months of training completion
  • Graduation from a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association
