Job Title: Vascular Sonography Tech

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonography Tech to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a Vascular Sonography Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:

This is a 0.8 FTE, day shift position with variable start times between 7:30 and 8:30am. The schedule includes one night per week and every 7th weekend, as well as holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide noninvasive diagnostic vascular services according to established standards and practices.
  • Adequately explain the rationale and patient expectations for each test.
  • Use cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic information and images.
  • Analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history from both patient and provider, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree or a licensed medical professional can obtain a Registry of Vascular Technology within six months of training completion.
  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
  • BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
