If you're passionate about cleanliness and food safety, our Sanitation Lead position might be the perfect fit for you. You'll be in charge of ensuring all production equipment meets the highest sanitation standards and food safety regulations. This hands-on role involves supervising the cleaning crew, collaborating with quality control, and maintaining impeccable work areas through effective chemical usage.

Responsibilities:

Pre-rinse, wash, and sanitize equipment according to company standards. Inspect the work of the cleaning crew and complete sanitation checklists. Collaborate with the sanitation manager and quality control technician to address any cleaning deficiencies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in designated areas. Apply knowledge of cleaning chemicals, including safety measures and applications. Follow AIB guidelines, HACCP principles, and GMP compliance. Set up equipment to company standards before production runs. Prioritize tasks and work independently. Utilize basic math principles for product usage and dilution rates. Follow safety protocols and procedures, including PPE. Clean and sanitize various equipment and surfaces. Perform tasks related to equipment safety and lockout/tag-out procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience. High school diploma or GED. Experience in food manufacturing. Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
