Staf Data Scientists at Collibra are responsible for
  • Monitoring the AI/ML landscape, staying abreast of new techniques and algorithms.
  • Translating academic concepts into pragmatic solutions addressing specific business needs.
  • Developing, operationalizing, and supporting AI/ML models to drive actionable insights.
  • Evaluating algorithmic results for quality, adaptability, and efficiency.
  • Contributing to the evolution of Collibra's AI and ML platforms to enhance data products.
You have
  • 7+ years of experience performing data and AI/ML projects related to business functions incorporating advanced techniques. Experience in NLP, and neural networks, is preferred
  • Proficiency in Python and associated Data Science modules for efficient solution development.
  • Educational background in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience with mathematical principles driving Generative AI technologies; experience being part of building an LLM application
  • Experienced with SQL, relational databases, and query authoring.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
You are
  • Deeply technical, passionate, and analytical about deriving insights from diverse datasets.
  • Effective communicator, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify foundational problems and sustainable solutions.
  • Adaptable and eager to contribute to the success of Discovery projects.
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, familiarize yourself with Collibra's data platform and products.
  • By the third month, begin developing new AI/ML models and data products within Discovery projects.
  • Within your sixth month, collaborate with delivery teams to operationalize and deploy solutions into production.
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is ,010,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
