Klosterman Baking Company is seeking an Operations Controller to join our team in Hebron, KY.

Summary:


This position is responsible to work with all departments, bakeries, and depots to gain financial acumen and understanding of the business from a financial perspective.

This position will be the liaison between the operations and finance to ensure that there is a clear understanding of expectations from both sides.

This position will communicate back to accounting any financial accruals or concerns that will affect the financial statements.

Essential Functions

  • Managerial reporting for all bakeries, depots, and departments via Business Central & Power Bi.
  • Monthly meetings with each bakery, depot, and department. (Meeting cadence could be more if needed)
  • Creation and preparation of ad-hoc reporting for managerial purposes.
  • Work with the financial controller in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Managerial reporting of CAPEX by department, bakery, and depot.
  • Preparation of managerial KPI's via Business Central & Power BI
  • Participate is a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement business process documentation along with internal controls.
  • All other duties, as required.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment in our Hebron, KY headquarters. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. which create low-moderate noise.

Expected Hours of Work


This is a salaried, exempt level, full-time position with standard working days/hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as necessary to complete required tasks.

Travel


Travel will be required, but is primarily local and during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience

CPA or MBA preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Power Bi a strong plus.

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
