Experienced Controls Engineering Specialist

- Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
- Type: W2 contract (No C2C or third-party arrangements)
- Shift: 1st shift - 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
- Compensation: $80 per hour
- Proficient in software platforms such as Cognex InSight, FactoryTalk View SE, and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams through debugging and commissioning phases.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLC programming.
- This role involves significant technical contributions aimed at developing innovative automation solutions, including equipment design and implementation for global operations.
- The primary focus will be on large-scale automated systems related to filling, capping, labeling, inspection, and advanced material handling.
- Collaborate with the Automation Engineering team during the installation and commissioning of advanced automated systems.
- Offer technical support to operations and validation teams during system characterization and validation.
- Provide expertise in PLC controls, HMIs, vision systems, servo control, and overall equipment automation.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers to troubleshoot and enhance software and configurations as needed.
- Serve as the on-site subject matter expert for the operational setup of commissioned equipment.
- Deliver technical training and support to operators as necessary.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLC programming.
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems, including AC & DC motor drives, servo motors, HMIs, and machine safety I/O hardware.
- Ability to debug equipment lines while providing on-site installation and training as per project specifications.
- Willingness to be onsite for a significant portion of the time during installation, commissioning, and validation support.
- Must possess valid work authorization for the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
