Senior Automation Controls Engineer

- Location: Onsite in Hebron, KY
- Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
- Type: W2 contract (No C2C or third-party arrangements)
- Shift: 1st shift - 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
- Compensation: $80 per hour
- Proficient in software platforms such as Cognex InSight, FactoryTalk View SE, and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams during debugging and commissioning phases.
- Expertise in Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLC programming.
- This role focuses on delivering innovative automation solutions, encompassing equipment development, control systems, and design implementation for global operations.
- The primary responsibilities involve large-scale automated systems related to filling, capping, labeling, inspection, and advanced material handling.
- Collaborate with the Automation Engineering team during the installation and commissioning of advanced automated systems.
- Provide technical guidance to operations and validation teams during system characterization and validation processes.
- Offer software and automation support in areas such as PLC controls, HMIs, vision systems, and overall equipment automation.
- Work with equipment suppliers both on-site and remotely to troubleshoot and enhance software and configurations as needed.
- Serve as the on-site subject matter expert (SME) for the operational setup of commissioned systems.
- Deliver technical training and support to operators as necessary.
- Experience with Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLC programming.
- Familiarity with electromechanical systems, including AC and DC motor drives, servo motors, HMIs, and machine safety I/O hardware.
- Proven track record in equipment line debugging and providing on-site installation and training as required.
- Availability to be on-site for a significant portion of the installation, commissioning, and validation support.
- Must possess valid employment authorization to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
