Join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where your expertise will directly contribute to our operational efficiency and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular and preventative maintenance on electromechanical equipment. Diagnose and repair complex machinery issues using test results, error messages, and operator feedback.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, and more to maintain and troubleshoot a variety of industrial equipment.


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Proficient with industrial electronics, power transmission, test instruments, VFDs, PLCs, ladder logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols including lockout/tagout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, Journeyman Certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the steel industry.
  • Welding and light fabrication skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet).
  • Experience with PID control loops and combustion controls.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
