Exciting Career Opportunity at Layton Construction

Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer at Layton, you will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure that project work aligns with plans and specifications.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans and specifications, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance.
  • Provide input on value analysis and constructability of plans.
  • Recommend cost-saving methods and attend project team meetings.
  • Update project schedules, assist in bidding, and work on scope development for trade contractors.
  • Conduct inspections, oversee concrete pours, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and scheduling programs.
  • Problem-solving skills and field experience are advantageous.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 with additional benefits like a target bonus.
