Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Oversee clerical tasks, personnel records, medical records, office equipment, and payroll
  • Financial Support: Assist in billing and financial operations
  • Communication Oversight: Manage hospice communications and tracking physician orders
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulations
  • Interpersonal Skills: Utilize effective communication skills
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed about hospice regulations
  • Mission Advocacy: Promote hospice philosophy and mission
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to perform additional duties

Qualifications:

  • Experience in office administration or related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft and Google applications
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations is advantageous
  • A commitment to hospice philosophy of care and service

Position Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Possession of a high school diploma or GED
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience with typing, clerical responsibilities, and computer operations
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of two years in healthcare billing is desirable. Prior experience in a hospice setting is advantageous
