Lab Technician Requirements And Responsibilities

Experience: 1-3 years experience with QC, GMP, and analytical procedures is required.

Analytical Instrumentation:
Experience with analytical instrumentation such as AutoVue and ProVue is preferred.

Regulatory Compliance:
Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, ISO, and cGMP guidelines and regulations is preferred.

Manual Skills:
Ability to handle instruments, complete repetitive motions, and stand for extended periods is required.

Safety Compliance:
Diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to limit exposure to bloodborne pathogens is required.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Job Duties

Testing:
Perform in-process testing on all types of Gel Cards.

Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant regulatory agencies.

Investigations:
Participate in failure investigations, determine root causes, track and trend data, and suggest process improvements.

Timeliness:
Perform testing within established timelines in accordance with current cGMPs.

Maintenance:
Contribute to the equipment maintenance and calibration program.

Multi-tasking: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and challenges simultaneously.
