Summary

As a Project Finance Specialist, you play a key role in servicing the Latin America, Caribbean, and Europe and Eurasia areas. Your responsibilities include originating, structuring, and assessing financial product transactions in collaboration with U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) missions. Additionally, you will be performing economic and financial analyses of various sectors and developing risk mitigating solutions for different types of risks.

  • Engage with financial partners, missions, and stakeholders to improve financial product implementation.
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with investors, lenders, and small businesses.
  • Represent the DFC at conferences and workshops on development finance.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position will require foreign travel to developing countries.
Qualifications

Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements. Applicants need one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level and demonstrated experience working in emerging markets in Latin America, Caribbean, and/or Europe and Eurasia is preferred.
