About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Specialist to join our corporate practice, specializing in energy project development and finance. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in US project development and finance, particularly with distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage US project development and finance for renewable energy projects.
  • Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation.
  • Handle key commercial project documentation, including power purchase agreements, engineering, procurement, and construction contracts, and interconnection agreements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, DC, NY, or CA.
  • Minimum four years of project finance experience at a law firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism in client interactions and collaborative team settings.
