Entry Level Alarm Technician

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Setup: Assist in installing alarm systems, including wiring, programming, and testing.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on existing alarm systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems and related equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining system functions and answering client questions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and service calls.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay uptodate with industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Qualifications
  • Low Voltage Experience: Basic understanding and handson experience with low voltage systems is required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the installation and maintenance of alarm systems.
  • Problemsolving abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Customer Focused: Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Detailoriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge in the alarm and security industry.

Qualifications

Driver's License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience in Low voltage or electrical background.
