Internal Audit Group (IAG) at American Express is expanding its audit staff significantly. Our diverse assurance and risk professionals work across key risk areas, business units, and global markets. The team ensures comprehensive audit coverage aligned with our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute audit tasks across all stages of the audit lifecycle
- Communicate audit objectives, risks, and findings effectively
- Participate in process and control design testing
- Validate audit and regulatory issues
- Evaluate audit observations and corrective actions
- Develop expertise in financial crimes risks
- Maintain audit proficiency through ongoing professional development
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years of internal audit or control testing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated integrity, innovation, teamwork, and excellence
- Business process experience in the financial services industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial crime laws and regulations
- Experience within financial services or banking industry
- Relevant professional certifications
- Knowledge of auditing practices and the audit lifecycle
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually plus bonus and benefits
