As a Sales Associate at Joe's Produce and Deli, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers and assisting them in finding the perfect products for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Provide expert assistance and product knowledge to customers, helping them make informed purchase decisions.
Actively listen to customers' needs and preferences, suggesting suitable products from our extensive selection of fresh produce and deli items.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
Assist in restocking merchandise and ensuring products are adequately displayed throughout the day.
Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed sales targets and achieve customer satisfaction goals.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to answer customer inquiries effectively.
Requirements:
Previous experience in sales, retail sales preferred.
Previous experience in grocery, produce experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members.
A positive attitude with a genuine desire to help and assist others.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Self starter with attention to detail.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, reach overhead, push, pull, and maneuver in a retail environment.
