Job DescriptionJob is looking to hire a Lab Technician for a client in Freeport TX

Description:
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred, which may include previous college-level experience like internships or college labs.
- Responsible for reviewing and entering lab analyses information into LIMS system, analyzing and testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products following validated or compendia methods.
- Performs complex reactions and release testing of products according to quality systems and principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and enter data from lab analyses into LIMS repository
- Independently perform analysis in the laboratory
- Conduct administrative lab tasks including updating SOP's
- Update and maintain QC spreadsheets
- Calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment (HPLC, GC, ICP, IR, etc.)
- Analyze stability samples and finished products using various instrumental methods
- Collect and prepare data for evaluation, ensuring accuracy before reporting
- Maintain good documentation practices

SHE Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promote positive safety behaviors and use proper protective equipment
- Investigate and report incidents promptly
- Consider safety awareness in all tasks and lead by example in adhering to safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and guidelines

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- None

EDUCATION:

AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Experience in cGMP guidelines and quality control techniques
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred
- Basic understanding of laboratory hygiene, safety, and GMP rules
- 0-4 years of experience in a Life Science Industry lab utilizing various instrumentation (HPLC, GC, ICP, IR, etc.)
