Position Overview:
This role involves organizing, scheduling, and conducting laboratory studies and specimen collection within our Health Service Unit. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting A&O in-processing and DNA collection as per established procedures.
  • Participating in vaccine programs and managing PPD updates.
  • Preparing specimens for transport in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of lab requests and proper documentation in the Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR).

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Possess valid certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Phlebotomist.
  • Hold current CPR certification from a recognized organization.

Work Schedule:
The position requires availability for 7.5-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times between 0600 and 1800.
