About the opportunity:


As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mail.

You will be responsible for preparing and organizing mail items for distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organization and make a positive impact.

What you'll get to do:

  • Sort and categorize incoming mail items based on their type and destination.
  • Open, review, and process mail items, ensuring they are correctly labeled and addressed.
  • Prepare outgoing mail items by packaging, sealing, and affixing postage.
  • Operate mail processing equipment, such as postage meters and letter folding machines.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail items.
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in mail handling or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
