How your role fits into Boldt:
The Corporate Director ofSafety will create, inspire and maintain a \"Safe Thinking\" safetyculture. This position will employ a \"OneBoldt\" approach as they lead,direct, facilitate and support \"Safe Thinking\" safety initiatives forthe organization. The Corporate Director of Safety will be responsiblefor the vision and direction of safety, including the development ofsafety leaders.

Through planning, leading, evaluating, and continuouslyimproving the awareness and practice of safe construction methods, thisposition will strive to create an environment encouraging acollaborative working spirit and an integrated culture.


Required SkillsWhat you get to do:

Assist in the development, support, deployment, andreview of standards and management systems for Health & Safety (H&S)across the organization.

Provide quality, timely and professionalsubject matter expertise and business support to ensure that a safe,sustainable, efficient, and legally compliant work environment issustained.

Direct the development and deployment of H&S programs andmanagement systems to ensure compliance with company and legislativeobligations. Support the overall development of H&S management systemsacross all business units, adapting for the inherent operationaldifferences between each. Drive continuous improvement of safetybehaviors and outcomes by delivering methodologies and tools toeffectively mitigate identified risks. Act as a safety resource andmentor for project staff. Develop, implement, refine and communicatetraining initiatives to educate team members on the importance ofeffective safety behaviors.
