Director Of Health Services Needed For Senior Living Communities in St Paul, MN

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Director of Health Services to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our residents receive exceptional, person-centered care in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Inspire:

  • Guide and support a team of caregivers, CNAs, and a Home Manager.
  • Foster a collaborative and compassionate work culture.

Oversee Clinical Care:

  • Implement best practices in dementia care.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Engage with Families:

  • Communicate effectively with residents' families.
  • Promote resident engagement and quality of life through personalized care plans.

Educate and Train:

  • Provide ongoing training on dementia care and safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on the latest in dementia care and share knowledge with the team.

Manage Resources:

  • Participate in budget management to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure and at least five years of healthcare management experience, preferably in dementia or elderly care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of dementia care.
  • LALD preferred (support available to obtain this license).
