Under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator I, the Accounting Analyst will perform professional analytical accounting work in the research and reconciliation of corporate actions occurring on securities held in the name of the State Controller for the sole purpose of safeguarding the public's property and funds for return to the rightful owner.

This may require working with external parties to obtain correct information. The Accounting Analyst will reconcile the basic and complex security issues to pay security claims.
