Philly Temps & Perm is seeking a qualified Paralegal or Legal Assistant to assist their client located in Narberth, PA. This is a temporary position that is part-time, three days per week. The ideal schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role.

This is a fully on-site role. This role will ALWAYS be part-time as well - there is no room for a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with legal case management, including organizing and maintaining case files

Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts and correspondence

Perform clerical tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars

Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions

Conduct data entry to update client information and maintain accurate records

Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings

Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Skills:

Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures

Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for legal drafting and correspondence

Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document preparation and data entry

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role is required
