Entry Level Technician:
Responsibilities include performing basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and maintenance of belts, hoses, and brakes. This role also involves cleaning duties and on-site training to develop skills in automotive service.
Automotive Service Technician:
This position entails mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars and light trucks (excluding heavy trucks). Duties involve engine repairs, suspension work, and modifications such as lift kits. Experience with classic cars, high-performance vehicles, and exotic models is a plus. A Pennsylvania state inspection and emissions license is advantageous and can be obtained during employment.
Automotive Repair Shop Manager:
The ideal candidate will oversee all operational aspects of the repair facility, including opening and closing procedures and end-of-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and manage repair invoicing
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Source and order parts, maintaining inventory and shop supplies
- Collaborate with technicians and assistants to optimize workflow
- Ensure the facility remains clean and welcoming.
