SUMMARY
This role is instrumental in the planning and creation of a customer-first social media content strategy.

The Social Media Manager collaborates with our in-store marketing, website, events, merchandising and email team members to develop content and cohesive plans that communicate our brand and elevate our relationship with our guests.

This role delivers metrics and ROI through engagement and conversions through all of our social channels. This role has great growth potential for managing direct reports as we build out our digital and social teams. This position is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the Home Office and 2 days remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Spearhead holistic content planning for all types of social media channels with consumer experience top of mind
Build and manage universal content calendar reflecting the coordination of website, in store, email, vendor, digital and social promotion for seamless timing of promotional execution
Create and execute a blog calendar that helps drive domain authority and provides relevant information to our guests
Guide social media strategy and innovation with new platforms and mediums and manage and develop content that resonates with each different platform
Manage and create video content and on figure photo session for social platforms to leverage engagement
Manage outside agencies, contractors, and intern to maintain a steady flow of on brand content that resonates with each social platform
Conduct continuous evaluation of digital space, competitive landscape and emerging platforms, tools and technologies to drive enhancements to processes and content
Develop and maintain a dashboard of metrics to present to Director of Marketing for ROI on social channels
Provide educational tools to other departments, associates & management to improve overall company social media creation involvement
Hire and manage social intern with potential to become full time position
Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5-7 years social media and content marketing experience
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field required
Advanced knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat)
Exceptional ability to develop clear, concise and eye-catching presentations for a range of audiences and needs
Exceptional communication skills
Understanding of content consumption, social media and purchasing behavior
Must be a self-starter who combines a high level of creativity and energy with strong project management skills
Must care deeply about - and work to foster - positive team culture and collaboration, even amidst a challenging and demanding workload
Ability to handle multiple projects and complete tasks quickly and effectively
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to identify emerging issues, quickly assess risk and escalate.
