Summary of the Position:
  • Recruit and train restaurant staff.
  • Regularly interact with diners to ensure a positive experience.
  • Develop and manage employee schedules.
  • Monitor labor hours and adjust schedules efficiently.
  • Uphold safety and food quality standards.
  • Handle daily cash operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish improvement strategies.
  • Implement measures to reduce waste and manage costs.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas.
  • Execute tasks delegated by the owner or general manager.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management within a high-volume fast-casual setting.
  • Active Chicago food handler ServSafe Manager certification.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and software like Windows, Dropbox, and MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Flexible availability to work all shifts, including weekends.
  • Possession of a valid IL driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Resilience and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in project management and documentation.
  • Track record of leading successful and motivated teams.
