Flight Attendant II

**This is a part - time and on call position located in Anchorage, AK**
Job Summary
The Flight Attendant II is knowledgeable in commercial aviation practices and will support the Q400 slope shuttle flights.
Responsibilities
- Ensure passenger safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Manage passengers and crewmembers during abnormal/emergency situations and/or medical emergencies during flight.
- Participate in preflight briefings.
- Ensure safety equipment on aircraft is in working order.
- Preparation for passenger service.
- Brief passengers as per FAR
- Serve food and beverages, including alcohol.
- Attend training as prescribed.
- Remain with aircraft during post-flight period.
- Assist in normal securing of the aircraft
- Effectively communicate with crew members and passengers.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent commercial aviation experience
- Must be capable of lifting, moving moderately heavy items, up to 30 lbs.
- Must be willing to work all days of the week, including holidays and weekends to meet specific flight schedules per established work guidelines.
- Must live within a 90-minute drive time of the Aviation Hangar.
