Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures.
  • Provide insights to Design Engineering on new component technology and aid in component selection with quality and reliability analysis.
  • Analyze incoming material defects, drive corrective actions with suppliers as necessary, and review new design specifications from a quality and manufacturability standpoint.
  • Solve complex problems, organize tasks and projects efficiently, and work under general direction within established practices and policies.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers, contribute to specific programs and projects, and demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.

What We're Looking For:
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or similar field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Capability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering background desirable.
  • Experience in metal-related manufacturing processes or component suppliers of metal products.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing support, quality system auditing, lean/six sigma methodologies, and project management.
