Pay is hourly scheduled around rehearsals, concerts, and auditions. Pay rate is determined by current position with music orgs.

Description of the Position:
(Purpose of the Position):
To manage rehearsals and performances during senior week and commencement weekend.
To provide support for fall auditions that happen before classes begin.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Set up as needed for daily rehearsals and performances
Reserve rooms as needed for sectionals
Assist with audition process and preparations as requested
Assist with ensemble communication on behalf of conductor
Meet with conductor and/or Music Orgs staff for work direction and planning as needed
Ensure all choir equipment is properly stored, returned, and tracked between concerts
Assist with student leadership of ensemble as needed/directed by conductor
Maintain discretion and integrity when dealing with sensitive or confidential material

Qualifications:
(Education/Experience/Skills)

Must be employed as the current St. Olaf Band, Orchestra, or Choir assistant manager; the St.

Olaf Band, Orchestra, Choir assistant managers of the following academic year; or the Viking or Manitou manager of the following academic year.
