Role Overview:

As a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, you play a vital part in the country's food supply chain. In addition to ensuring timely and safe delivery of products, you represent our company and build lasting relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct all necessary safety checks, including vehicle inspections, to meet DOT regulations and company standards.
  • Report safety issues and needed repairs promptly. Adhere to all DOT regulations and safe driving policies.
  • Perform checks on loaded freight and customer invoices.
  • Handle paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Deliver customer orders on time and unload products securely.
  • Verify deliveries with customers, handle payments as required, and manage returns appropriately.
  • Ensure security of the vehicle, trailer, and freight at all times.
  • Complete daily logs in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:
  • Meet all State licensing and certification requirements.
  • Have a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years.
  • Pass drug tests, background checks, and road tests.
  • Possess a valid DOT Health Card or obtain one.
  • Be capable of lifting and moving product cases of varying weights throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Commercial Motor Vehicle driving experience.
  • 6+ months of food service experience.
