Termite Technician

Environmental Pest Service LLC is seeking a highly skilled Termite Technician to join our team. As a Termite Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to our customers while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

• Service Delivery: Maintain service schedules for all customers on assigned route, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Termite Inspections: Inspect and troubleshoot termite Sentricon systems and wildlife traps to employ sound pest control strategies.
• Specialized Equipment: Use specialized equipment to drill holes and install wildlife and pest traps, apply caulks, and perform other construction methods to resolve issues.
• Moisture Control: Perform moisture/vapor barriers in crawl spaces and provide liquid treatment for bed bugs and/or heat treatment applications.
• Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers prior to, during, and after service delivery to assess and meet their needs.
• Infestation Monitoring: Monitor infestation/rodent areas and pest application methods after application and communicate progress to customers and operation managers.
• Customer Requests: Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and communicate with sales staff to meet client expectations.
• Ongoing Training: Participate in ongoing training programs to improve skill level and complete service-related paperwork in a timely and orderly fashion.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain assigned service vehicle, equipment, and tools in clean and good working condition.
• Driving Requirements: Adhere to all driving laws and company policies when operating company vehicles.
• Additional Responsibilities: Participate in collections efforts and complete additional projects as assigned.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Ability to walk, climb, stoop, reach, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50lbs or more.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis during telephone calls, follow-ups, and in-person correspondence.
• Math Skills: Ability to calculate basic math.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license and be 18 years of age.
• Criminal Background Check: Pass seven-year criminal background check, substance abuse testing, and three-year motor vehicle report.
