Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves ensuring optimal stock levels and presentation of products in retail locations serviced by Durham Coca-Cola.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and fulfill the stock and merchandising requirements of retail accounts to guarantee appropriate pricing, quantity, and product display.
  • Acquire proficiency in utilizing ordering software and related equipment.
  • Enhance the visual appeal of merchandise by maintaining fully stocked, rotated, and clean retail displays, including shelves, coolers, and promotional setups.
  • Foster professional relationships with account staff while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Organize merchandise in accordance with company guidelines to attract consumer interest.
  • Manage and arrange stock in the customer’s storage area as necessary.
  • Uphold a safe working environment consistently.
  • Ensure accurate daily accounting of products, cash, and assets.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Possession of a valid NC Driver License and reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in stocking, route delivery, merchandising, or retail.
  • Excellent driving record, particularly over the last 7 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed).
  • Ability to consistently lift 40 pounds.
  • Capability to lift 30 pounds overhead regularly.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of products is required.
  • Frequent kneeling, stooping, and bending is necessary.
  • Ability to walk or stand for at least 8 hours daily.
  • Willingness to work one weekend per month and some holidays.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated dependability, integrity, attention to detail, self-motivation, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Must pass company background checks and drug testing requirements.
