OVERVIEW:


We are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to join our growing pet sales team in California/West Coast Our most successful team members are self-motivated strategy setters who are comfortable managing many accounts at once and are always looking for key insights that will move us forward.

This position will play an important role in helping grow our existing pet specialty accounts and building relationships with new accounts.

This individual will have the opportunity to work across all Antelope brands, including Bocce's Bakery, Diggin' Your Dog / Super Snouts, Ark Naturals and My Perfect Pet.

Please note travel is required for field coverage, including trade shows and sales meetings. This will include overnight stays.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and grow existing and new account relationships
Conduct lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, and closing of potential new customers
Educate prospective customers and pitch them on the value of all Antelope products and services
Utilize provided data and CRM to optimize sales efforts and identify potential areas of growth
Ensure all programs meet financial ROI targets and growth goals for long-term strategic partnerships
Effectively manage within a set trade budget
Work with otherdepartments such as marketing, design, operations, and finance to optimize sales efforts and continually improve effectiveness and productivity
Help out wherever needed as Antelope grows

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate for this job:
Must live in the CA area
Bachelor's degree
Ability to multitask, work in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
Knowledgeable about industry trends
Experience in various roles within pet specialty channel a plus
Must love pets (& treats)
