As the **Medical Director, Adolescent Medicine**, you will play a crucial role in developing an adolescent medicine program within Ochsner Health's regional health system, the largest not-for-profit academic health system in the Gulf South.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and providing oversight for the pediatric residency and medical student training.
- Possibly serving as an **Associate Program Director**.
- Offering consultation and teaching to outpatient and inpatient pediatrics teams on adolescent care and common adolescent conditions.
- Providing leadership and education in adolescent health locally and across the Gulf South.
- Consulting with general pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and family medicine physicians on adolescent patient management, including high-risk behaviors and reproductive health.
- Transitioning both typically developing and medically complex patients from pediatric to adult medicine.
**Gender Medicine Care**:
Be part of a diverse pediatric gender medicine team at a larger gender medicine clinic, offering consultation and follow-up care to adolescents.
