Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for administering, organizing, and conducting training/educational programs in connection with standardized patient development, on-the-job training, and orientation at the HEB Clinical Skills Center.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative and educational expertise in conducting training programs for Standardized Patients (SP).
  • Design and develop case trainings that targeted to the SPs' needs and the student learning level.
  • Assists with technical aspects of educational activities by maintaining database and documenting session logistics, SP schedules, activity timing, and session blueprints.
  • Maintains record of training activities and employee progress, and monitors effectiveness of training.
  • Studies and applies fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of the SP Educator profession following UT Health SA and ASPE standards.
  • Develops training materials, to include checklists and guides.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting.
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
  • Knowledge of learning management software.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning.
  • Sound decision-making and organizational skills.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database software.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field is required.
