Job Summary

Responsible for identifying and strategizing plans to achieve long-term goals and objectives of the organization. Recommends the allocation of resources to existing businesses; identifies merger and acquisition opportunities. Plans the overall direction and financial planning of the Strategic Planning department. Provides leadership and direction for multiple functional areas. Manages professionals at manager, supervisor and professional levels. Ensures appropriate resources to achieve financial and business objectives. Influences, shapes and integrates strategy for functional area(s).

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

+ Define, run and own accountability for end-to-end Entertainment Planning process, covering all businesses and areas of Entertainment

+ Partner closely across the Global Entertainment organization, and broader TPX, to harominze all requests for development work, aligning them with strategic objectives and business targets

+ Facilitate objective & transparent prioritization processes across Entertainment to manage the portfolio of work across our internal and external business partners

+ Collaborate with the product and platform teams to understand the roadmap needs of our business partners, translating them into actionable plans within the planning process

+ Facilitate end to end communication and ceremonies, brining together Product, Design, Technology leadership, to communicate the development portfolio, prioritize and adapt as necessary (including change management)

+ Facilitate 'draw the line' activities across teams, and have a single view of what can and can't be done from a dev perspective in each planning cycle

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
