About the Job:
This position offers the opportunity to work at the Child Development Center located at Holloman AFB in New Mexico. The job provides flexibility with hours (0-40 per week) and typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend shifts required based on mission needs.



Physical Requirements:
The role involves frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 40 pounds, as well as continuous standing, walking, and other physical activities such as stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending for extended periods.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist in meal preparation following USAFA menu guidelines
  • Serve food family-style
  • Set up classroom food carts for meal and snack service
  • Operate dishwashers and perform cleaning tasks
  • Unload food deliveries
  • Handle heavy-duty cleaning assignments
  • Portion food items accurately for different rooms
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff for efficient meal service


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must be proficient in using hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of sanitation standards related to food handling and cleaning procedures.
