Our client is an international corporation specializing in the manufacturing of custom machinery for construction, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The company operates across North America with offices and manufacturing plants in Canada and the US.



Location:
Remote position based in either Canada or the USA, with a preference for Houston, TX or Toronto, ON. Extensive travel across the continent, with one person ideally in Houston and another in Canada or Northern US.

Job Description:


This role involves growing the company's business in heavy industry, construction, civil infrastructure, and facility capital projects markets throughout North America. Responsibilities include establishing strong relationships with companies involved in large-scale construction projects like bridges, railways, tunnels, and other civil infrastructure projects.

Managing the entire sales process, engaging with key decision-makers, assisting in developing project specifications, and overseeing bid submissions. Building internal and external relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and competitors.



Qualifications

We seek a seasoned sales professional with experience in heavy industrial and infrastructure markets. Familiarity with construction, civil infrastructure, and heavy industrial projects, especially in large-scale 'mega' project construction markets. Knowledge of access solutions is a plus. Engineering background or technical expertise preferred.

Essential skills include understanding standard and custom engineered products, business principles, contract negotiation, and risk identification. Excellent communication and travel flexibility within North America required.
